Alright! So I get to share some great news, some good news, some alright news, and some bad news.
The Great News: My story, "The Slice of a Knife," won an award at my college yesterday! I foudn out during my spring break and was waiting until I could tell you all properly and give you the name of the award!
The Good News: I finished "A Court of Thorns and Roses." And I bought the sequel "A Court of Mist and Fury." It came out today and I am so very excited to get it and read it! Amazing! Her characters developed into who I felt was right for their story. I loved the pacing, the setting, and (as always) her language. It was so well done!
The Alright News: I will be attempting to publish the short stories that are up here, so once I begin to submit them (one at a time) I will be taking them down :( But don't worry! If they don't get published or if something happens I will post it or put it back up!
The Bad News: Last semester I was asked to submit for a fellowship. I came in second place, unfortunately, so I didn't get it, but the important thing is that I tried my hardest. I was sad, don't get me wrong, but I have come to terms with it and realized that everything happens for a reason. So I won't give up just yet! I also realize that I never put up a story last week! Oh no! So let me get working on it and I will have it up within the day!
